ELECTIONS AND VOTING IN AMERICA AND ABROAD
After 230 years we still can't get it right. Or maybe we can...we just don't want to. From the Mafia rigging elections from 1960 JFK to 1972 Nixon, between the 2000 Bush administration's blatant and obvious Florida corruptional establishment and anything else that hasn't been scrutinized and/or exposed to the public just yet, it makes you think...what the hell is this all about anyway?
Do we actually have the balls to advertise that we, America, could possibly conceive or operate a "fair, honest, and just" election that truely reflects the will of the free public. No fuckin' way!
First up... if we cant do it in our own home, we sure as hell won't be able to do it in anyone elses home so don't expect a true election in Afghanistan, Iraq, or any other country no matter what banner your officials wave. They just want you to think and believe they can get the job done so that you will re-elect them and, in the process, relinquish your freedoms and rights to them. The United States of America has had a history of shady and questionable elections. The whole thing is set up that way right from the door. What do you think we have "electoral votes" for?...When you cast your vote, you're not voting for your choice for the next President of the United States, you're voting for someone else in your state who will cast a vote for you--and it may or may not be who you choose!! The more layers of insulation the American Government can put between you and the actual person running for election means more opportunity(s) for them to water down the weight of your individual vote and cheat you out of you "democratic" process.
Second...If the people of another land do not want fair elections, or... if they don't want elections at all, who cares? They have a right to run their country however they want to run it without America's interference. When we force them to have "democratic" elections against their will, they will enact "social justice" and sabotage any effort(s) against their will--by any means necessary--and they can think up a lot more ways to do this within their own country than any other other political leader, anywhere else in the world, can think of ways to force an "election" on the people of that land.
So DO VOTE this coming November 2, 2004 but don't expect the wind to blow. DO VOTE in every election you feel you want to and maybe someday before we're dead we'll see an honest reflection of the majorities voice walk into office.
Because the more time that goes by...the more the pig-headed, bigoted, corrupt ways of our elders will fade into extinction leaving an open gap for us to fill. Just make sure you are there to fill that gap by voting and staying involved or else more of the same may just creep in and box us out. Keep your head up, stay in the fight, and never give up my brothers. love ya
You make me fucking sick

Thu, October 21, 2004 - 4:10 PMWhy don't you tell us how you really feel! <grin>
Anyway, I have to agree. Who the hell are we to tell others how to hold open and fair elections, when we can't do it ourselves. Makes us such hypocrites. -
