What do you think folks? Should we call for it? Pressure the Dems to call for it? I mean, I think lying about why we went to Iraq is much more impeach-worthy than screwing someone in the oval office.
If we put enough pressure on our elected officials, could we do it?

Re: Impeachment anyone?
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 7:14 PMit should have happened already.
people are so complacent tho.
okay so the 60's revolution was a failure, right? but at least then you saw the streets filled with people, huge events, protests, people trying to DO something real, even if in the end it didn't work.
what do we have now? -

Re: Impeachment anyone?
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 7:17 PMI agree with that, but I think there could be more of a grassroots thing....we saw how the internet could get people out there doing stuff, or at least shunting off emails to the right people...I think it could be done, but it's just a matter of getting people mobilized again... -

Re: Impeachment anyone?
Wed, November 3, 2004 - 7:18 PMmaybe I'm just overly pessimistic.
but you know what, with time that will fade.
the flipside of that is that today lots of people are righteously pissed off; but in time, for them that too will fade. -

Re: Impeachment anyone?
Sat, November 6, 2004 - 1:32 AMfirst off, clinton got impeached for lying in front of congress, and he got his just deserts. now, if kenneth starr would've minded his own business by making a big deal out of nothing, provoking the president to lie in the first place, then it would probably STAY no one's business.
second, is lying a nation into war an impeachable offense? i think so, and so does our big nerd friend ralph nader who has spoken about making an impeachment trial on those grounds. wouldn't it be great to have nader the hero to knock this administration out on its ass.
but how do we convince the majority, who voted for bush, that this president they elected should be removed? the nation today is stur-crazy with this war on terror. so many people are misinformed or just feel that we should bully the world because we're the only super-power and want to show the world (n. korea) who's boss. i mean, people who voted for bush were too paranoid of switching seats while fighting this vague enemy, meanwhile we're now in a state of cleaning this mess we made in iraq, and not focusing on the real fight in afghanistan.
does anyone have any accurate news sources that report what's going on with our military there? -
